    About “Susan May Warren

    1. Susan May Warren says:

I can t help be amazed at the gifts God has delighted me with a wonderful husband, four amazing children, and the opportunity to write for Him.I ve been writing as long as I can remember I won my first book writing contest in first grade Over the years, writing has become, for me, a way to praise God and see Him at work in my life.Although I have a degree in Mass Communications from the University of MN, my real writing experience started when I penned the The Warren Report a bi monthly newsletter that detailed our ministry highlights.Living in Russia meant I never lacked for great material and those experiences naturally spilled out first into devotionals and magazine articles and finally into my first published story, Measure of a Man, in the Tyndale HeartQuest, Chance Encounters of the Heart anthology.Susan and husbandI grew up in Wayzata, a suburb of Minneapolis, and became an avid camper from an early age My favorite fir lined spot is the north shore of Minnesota it s where I met my husband, honeymooned and dreamed of living The north woods easily became the foundation for my first series, The Deep Haven seriessed on a little tourist town along the shores of Lake Superior I have to admit I m terribly jealous of Mona, the heroine of my first full length book, Happily Ever After, a Christy Award Finalist published in 2004 with Tyndale Heartquest. Our family moved home from the mission field in June 2004 and now we live in the beautiful town I d always dreamed of God has amazed me anew with His provision, and blessings and allowed me a season when I can write full time for Him.I m delighted you ve stopped in to visit My hope is that you ll be blessed and encouraged by soul stirring stories of regular people interacting with a God who loves them.I d love to hear from you I love getting mail, especially from readers and I welcome your questions and comments Write to me at susan susanmaywarren And, if you re interested, sign up for my newsletter, a quarterly sneak peek into upcoming releases and projects Thank you for your interest and support.God Bless and Happy Reading In His Grip,Susan May Warren

    1. I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first book, though the suspense in Book 1 was more on the edge for me.The suspense started out with a bang, with Will Masterson running through the forest after being grilled by terrorists. And Dani finding a dead body. Will needs to find a package before terrorists get to it and Dani is looking for a missing teenage girl.I enjoyed the characters the most in this book. From the moment they met till the last page their story/relationship was intriguing. The [...]

    2. Escape to a great book!I thought I had read all the books by Susan May Warren, but I discovered the Team Hope books. I read the first one.It was fantastic by the way, and went straight to this one. I was not disappointed! I just downloaded the 3rd book and will read that one right away. I am so thrilled I found these books!!

    3. Great quick read! Susan May Warren has a way of pulling her readers into the story. Makes it hard to put her books down!

    4. I'm loving learning about, and getting to know these characters that I've already met from later published books. Susan May Warren is great about not forgetting the characters she has so intrinsically developed through her novels. Her stories draw readers in and captivates them through the last page.

    5. Beyond Words!Susan May Warren once again writes a Bible based story that nothing keeps you guessing but learning about God's nature & I've at the same time! I've never highlighted & shared so many key passages than with this series!

    6. Will and Dani's story was just an okay read for me. It was a big decrease in satisfaction after both the prequel and first in the series. I felt Will's charade as a reporter dragged on too long and took away from the overall plot. Still a nice easy read and I will definitely complete the series.

    7. good plot and great balance between romance and suspense. Warren does a good job of keeping you on the edge of your seat and is good at not being so predictable. Danni has childhood issues of guilt for her sisters death and mother's suicide. She has a hard time letting herself get attached to people and let them see her "softer side" will is just the guy to break down her defenses. He is working undercover as a reporter in a small town, but is really an ex special op's guy working for National s [...]

    8. Clean Christian romance. This one had a great story inside its' cover, but it would have been so much better with a lot less pages! It was super preachy in parts. I thought there was too much drama invented by the author. For example, the guy was an under-cover agent, yet he kept feeling guilty for keeping it a seret. So it was a dumb thing for the girl to get upset about and think she had been "lied" to.

    9. Have to say, I really had fun reading Escape to Morning. Combining a SAR worker;an undercover Homeland Security Agent,a couple of former green berets and a missing girl whom everyone wants to find, including a terrorist cell and you've got some drama. Not to mention a fight or two. On top of that, you've got individuals struggling as they step out in faith, trying to seek what God's will is for them and those they hold dear.

    10. A great clean action/romance. This was another enjoyable story with an intense plot along with a sweet love story! The main characters have similar obstacles to overcome in their lives that their past induced. It is uplifting to watch them overcome them and grow together. It is not a picnic but worth the fight.

    11. I enjoyed how Dannette allows him to call her Dani and that is how Sarah knows there is something going on. The scene with them watching the sunrise was my favorite part and it makes me want to watch the sunrise with a good looking guy that likes me. I almost wouldn't mind being in the forest or up that early in the morning.

    12. Amazingly fast paced!Heart stopping at times,Susan May Warren sweeps us along a journey of twists an turns. From enemies in our country to healing the broken places in our hearts.

    13. Book #2 in a series. I really enjoy team hope and the whole search and rescue thing. Another easy & entertaining read, but I really enjoyed Will's character! I like how Susan weaves the characters together and comes with a great ending I am looking forward to the next book!

    14. I love a clean action/romance. This book was a little "preachy" to me. I love reading my scriptures but when I am reading a book I would prefer to read my book not passages from the scriptures also.

    15. Another great book by Susan May Warren. As with the first book in this series, I love how the plot is very intense/deals with terrorist, but underneath there is a sweet love story! It was nice to characters from the first book present in this one and I'm looking forward to book #3.

    16. Escape to Morning is a delight! Fast-paced, action-packed, and full of sweet romance, Escape to Morning is hard to put down and I was sad when it was finished. It left me wanting more! Thank you, Susan May Warren!

    17. This was an enjoyable story. A few parts were a little unbelievable, but I liked the characters.

    18. Great series with more than just romance. There is more suspense in this series than some of her other ones.

    19. I was disappointed with this novel. I've enjoyed many of Susan's books, but this felt more like a bash over the head with religion and a storyline that could have produced a short novella.

    20. ***1/2I liked Team Hope #2 better than #1 so I'll continue with #3. Still a wee bit heavy on the repetitious introspection but not unbearably so.

    21. This was a good clean romance adventure. However it did drag at times and some parts seemed very slow moving and a bit too introspective.

    22. Wonderful story, as always Susan May Warren tells a beautiful story. Love the characters and look forward to another great mystery.

    23. Better than the first one in my opinion. I connected better with the characters in this book. Interesting plot, enjoyable read.

    24. Escape to Morning is my favorite of the three Team Hope novels. I liked Dani and Will a lot more than I liked Micah and Lacey (the two main characters in the first Team Hope book).
